Hands down- the BEST experience I've ever had going to the dentist!
When I came in for my appointment, the receptionist was very pleasant and professional right away. She greeted me as soon as I walked in, and you could tell she was smiling through her mask. :)
Trista is the hygienist (not sure if they have others) and she's VERY personable and down to earth. I had a lot of questions and concerns, and I was really nervous (because who likes going to the dentist?! LOL). She eased my nerves and made me feel really comfortable and she was really knowledgeable. She also showed me the x-rays and discussed everything very thoroughly when I had questions about what I was seeing. You can tell she is very genuine and enjoys what she does.
I asked to speak to the dentist if he had time about my concerns, and although he was likely very busy, he took his time and spoke with me and answered ALL of my questions. You can tell he is a very educated and THOROUGH doctor, and takes pride in his work. He checked my medical conditions and hx on my paperwork/chart, and was attentive to everything I had wrote down.
This was my first time at Morton Ranch Dental, and my first time at a dentist in FAR too long (ew haha)! I thought I would feel awkward (I have REALLY bad teeth) in this "boujee" area and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. That was something I was really concerned about coming in. They didn't make me feel embarrassed or bad about my teeth, they all wanted to help me come up with the best plan to fix them. I am SO thankful that I found this place!
1.) They have a few pages of paperwork to fill out if you're a new patient. Come about 10-15 minutes ahead of time to get it filled out. It seems like a lot, but they actually take time to read everything you've put on there with your medical conditions and hx, so it's worth it to be thorough when filling it out.
2.) They have a $7 added office fee for the extra COVID cleaning pre-cautions that they have to take. Be prepared to pay it when you come in, even if your insurance covers your whole visit. The $7 is WELL worth it, because the office is very clean and sanitized, and it gives you the extra peace of mind during the pandemic.
3.) There is a fee (can't remember how much) if you miss your appointment or you need to cancel and don't give them proper notice (48 hours I think). That's pretty standard, so make sure you keep your appointment if possible or call way ahead of time to avoid a fee. That's common sense, though.
Thank you all SOOOO much for your time with me today!
10/10 would recommend! :)
